    This lake was the site of a prior U.S.A. Windsurfing Championship. However, other than that it was in a mid-western state, I can't recall where.

    As the sign says, this is "Windsurfing Beach", site of the 2014 U.S.A. Windsurfing National Championships. A check on-line states that this is Lake Okabena in Worthington, Minnesota.

 

 

 

 

    Panning right it appears that there are fish in this lake -- though the boat is a bit far away to determine if the occupants are fishing.

 

 

 

 

 

    Panning to the far right one can see what undoubtedly is among the higher-priced real estate in Worthington.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    I can't remember where this sunset photo was taken other than that it wasn't in New Mexico.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Waited a bit long to take this, but it appears I was at a campground.

 

 

 

 

    From Portland, Texas, looking back toward Corpus Christi. The large bridge over Corpus Christi Bay is just to the right of the amusement park building and the U.S.S.Lexington is to the left.     [Portland photos taken 2 Apr 2015]

 

 

 

 

 

    Shooting into the sun I didn't quite center the Lexington.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Another ship, this one likely still on active duty, heads toward the Lexington while beach-goers test the sand and surf.

 

 

 

    Port Comfort's beach facilities five miles across a causeway from Port Lavaca, Texas; the former had a closed branch library with working WiFi even though it was Easter weekend.
