16 July 2016 Lemmon Clan Reunion

16 July 2016 Lemmon Clan Reunion     For the first time since 2012 the descendants of George Thomas Lemmon and Johan Emanual Sallinen gathered in Fort Bragg, CA for a joint family reunion at the McGuire Ranch BBQ/Picnic Area.
While the turnout was smaller than in years past those who attended seemed to enjoy talking with their relatives, near and far, in both families.
Have moved the Group Photo down in hopes of helping this post load more quickly.

  1. I recently discovered that my Grandfather was an inspector for the El Paso and Southwestern Railroad. He was stationed in Bisbee, Arizona.

While researching that lead, I came across your blog.

    Very well done!

    1. Dave,
Many of the roads I've driven since 22 Nov 2010 follow routes first used by railroads. Of course, a few follow routes used by those headed for California before, during, and after the Gold Rush. My paternal grandfather drove his wagon along the Santa Fe Trail and continued on to Los Angeles.
