Looking north from Loop A of the Lakeside Campground at Utah Lake State Park.
Panning right one can see the snow on the mountains immediately to the east of Provo.
Panning furter right, one sees the mountains to the south-east of Provo.
From Loop B, where there is a gap in the trees, another shot of the mountains to the east of Provo. Note that one has a large "Y" on it, for BYU, Brigham Young University, which is in Provo.
While the three mountains just to the east of Provo are 7000 to 8000 ft high, the tallest peak, whose crest is in the clouds, is Mt. Provo, which, if mem serves is 11,000' high.
The mountains to the east of the greater Salt Lake City area.
A look due north to the mountains north of Salt Lake City.
